Well the great saga has come to an end . . . for those who didnt read the book. For those who did it ended four years ago. What an incredible ending. I truly wish the movies could capture the characters and intricate stories as the books did but unfortunately it is impossible with film. We are so tied down to 2-3 hour movies. Come on! I think any true Harry Potter fan would be fine with a 6-10 hour movie. Thankfully they did break this one up into two pieces which made it slightly better but justice cannot be made. For all of you who have only watched the movies, you are missing out more than you will ever know unless you just pick up the books and let your imagination show you how great the story really is. Dont be restricted by fantasy being displayed infront of you, become a part of it by reading.
Great movie though and it was most certainly enjoyable to watch. One error though, Harry needed to fix his own wand first!

Reading Mistborn again
I decided that I would read Mistborn - The Final Empire again by Brandon Sanderson. The first time that I read this book it was a bit of an undertaking and perhaps a little out of my league. But since last time I read it, I have become much more literate and am able to better comprehend this incredible story. If you are looking for a wonderful book with an original story line and completely original 'magic' or 'powers' then I highly recomend this series. I have never come across a writer who is so original with a story or so intriguing as the ones Sanderson writes. He is a genius and might I add, there are no flaws or contradictions as far as I can tell.

The Deathly Hallows
So I went to the 12:35 AM showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. I went into the movie thinking that this would be just like all of the other Harry Potter movies so I wasnt too excited. The other movies are so rushed and changed and dont exactly follow the books, in fact there are big changes causing crucial details to be left out. However the Deathly Hallows was quite impressive. I am pleased to say that this director followed the book so well. There are very few details in the movie that are different than the book and of course, some details have to be left out, thats a given. But this movie did not seem rushed or lacking in anyway. I was very impressed and am truly able to say that this was a good movie. Finally one of the greatest books was turned into one of the greatest movies.
